In the principle's mind:
Student is Tabula Rasa.
Teacher is there to fill the empty space.
Time goes by. Exams arrive.
Student does badly.
Teacher has failed to teach.
Normally this isn't a problem on its own as some students are just too dense/disinterested to be taught, but if multiple students are all doing badly, it's often (not always) a sign that the teacher cannot interest them enough in the subject for them to learn.
Especially in a private school, it's easier to kick out and replace one "failing" teacher than it is to kick out and replace multiple paying students(/customers.)

∙ 12y agoTeachers do not "give" students failing grades; students "earn" failing grades. Teachers only record the grades students get on homework, quizzes, tests, etc.

Teachers are supposed to give their students grades based on how they perform in class and on homework. While some teachers may in fact play "favorites", this cannot be said of all teachers, or even a large majority.

Personally I do not think so. Grades prevent students from wanting to explore their potential. If someone tells me I am getting graded, I am far less likely to take a risk in learning something. Grades also encourage a kind of competition between classmates which I think is unhealthy. One more thing. Grades cut down on good communication between students and teachers. They do not require teachers to give feedback on what the student needs to work on, or why they received the grade they did.

I give the students advice to be responsible,respectable to other students,to study to get good grades and do good in school.

If you think they are mean because they give you F and tell you that you need to improve, that only because they are consernd about your grades like a second parent. That's why they're teachers--they're supposed to care about their students' education and if they really care, then they'll be concerned about their students' lives. Although to really see for yourself if teachers care, you need to approach them with issues concerning grades or just your life. I even have two teachers I stay in contact with because they had an impact on me, and I know they care about me because they'll give up some of their time to listen to me.
