When you say it does not copy I am going to assume that when you try to copy a page, a blank page is the end result. If this is the case the problem is going to be in the charging system. There are a series of charges that are required to make a copy and are as follows. First there is the main charge, this is the charge that is creating a latent image of the original that you are trying to copy. If there is no charge (most likely a broken corona wire) there will be no copy. On the other hand if it is creating the image on the drum unit, then your problem is going to be in the transfer/seperation charging. This is the charge that actually pulls the image off of the drum unit onto the paper and the paper from the drum. Most likely its going to be one of these areas.
