It could do several things, mostly bad:
If your holding the object, your muscles contract, and you cannot let go (That what you see in Cartoons, that's why they never let go). So while you hold it, the current goes around your body and electrocutes you. It goes through the nerves in your body and can reach your heart. Although this is fatal, it can also go up to your brain and you could get brain damage.
Electricity can pass through your body causing you to get shocked. The severity of the shock depends on how many amps passed through and where the electricity passed through your body. Also the length of time you were being shocked. If there is enough amps you can be burned and/or killed. If you don't know what your doing around electricity then it would be best not mess around with it.
The heart uses it's own electrical pulses in order to beat correctly. Passing a current through the body can disrupt the heart pulses.
This can either stop the heart, or make it beat out of sync in a random fashion. This is known is 'fibrillation'. Basically the heart will stop pumping blood and you will die within minutes.
It is used in cells of all types in various processes, but especially in nerve cells for signal transmission down the length of the cell and in muscle cells to initiate the chemical reactions that cause contraction. This is why externally applied electricity produces such undesirable effects: nerves misfire and muscles inappropriately contract.
The two types are "static electricity" and "current electricity."
No. Thunder is the sound produced by lightning. Lightning is a form of electricity.
This electricity is static electricity, as you asked. See the related question and the link below.
covalent bonds do not conduct electricity covalent bonds do not conduct electricity covalent bonds do not conduct electricity
electricity was found by Benjamin Franklin
Static electricity andCurrent electricity are the basic forms of electricity.Others are:Thermo electricity,Piezo electricity,Photo electricity,...
Lightning doesn't become electricity. Lightning already is electricity.
Sure. Electricity can hold any amount of electricity.
Some types of electricity is static electricity, current electricity...and porn.
thermal means coal.with coal it produces electricity. this electricity is thermal electricity.
Electricity
electricity and life maybe electricity and water electricity and stone or rock or earth
Electricity was not invented it was discovered. Electricity is a natural part of nature.....look at lightning, that is electricity.
It doesn produce electricity. It uses electricity and shows magnetic properties.
Batteries do not produce electricity, they only store electricity.
flow of electricity is measured by an instrument galvanometer
The possessive form for the noun electricity is electricity's.
