This can be described as a matter of prioritization. Give priority to schoolwork. This means that if your school work is not completed, you do that first, before you do other, less important things such as texting your friends, playing Video Games, or whatever. Also, when doing your schoolwork, make sure that you fully understand what you are doing. Don't leave any questions unanswered.

They do affect grades. If the students are able to dress as they want, then they can be more focused and happy in school. If uniforms are in place, then they are focused but not happy. Therefore uniforms are not a bad thing but do not please the students.

firstly DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. this will only screw you over. secondly, if you think you can handle it, take honor courses. this will give you an extra boost because they are usually weighted which gives you a GPA higher than 4 if you get A's. have good time management. study for tests. do your homework. take notes in class. don't ditch class. be organized. have separate notebooks for each class if necessary. get enough sleep. don't mess around and do stupid things.
