Depends what you feel sad about. If you are missing someone just try not to think about them and you'll soon get over it.
If someones hurt you in a way try to forget about it and do something you enjoy.

I recommend trying to talk to somebody. Even if you can't pinpoint the problem, it's really ok to just go to someone you respect and say, "I feel bad and I don't know why." If you feel like you have nobody, you might consider a pastor, teacher, or therapist. Besides that, music and exercise can be really helpful. I recomend searching for Blogilates on YouTube.
Talk more to friends or talk with family do a sport you like so you can forget of being lonely.
