Do you mean what other food goes well with pasta? Pasta can be dressed as simply as just tossing it with olive oil. Or you can toss it with oil or butter, pepper, fresh herbs, grated cheese (Parmesan is the classic pasta cheese) and so on. Pasta tossed with beaten eggs and grated cheese is the traditional pasta carbonara, while pasta tossed with butter and cheese is what is known outside Italy as pasta all'Alfredo.
Pasta may be served with many sauces, and the style of pasta used depends on the texture of the sauce. So fettucine or spaghetti could be tossed with crushed and sieved tomatoes (passata), while a short style pasta such as spirals might go better with a chunky casserole-type sauce.

plain past tastes amazing with cheese just put some cheese on top of hot pasta it will melt and you have a perfect past meal its great with kids!
It depends wheter you mean in the pasta, or as a side-dish.
In my pasta i tend to like 'ragu' sauce or a cheese sauce. But some people may prefer white sauce, or maybe just plain pasta with a hint of basal or pepper.
Beside my pasta i tend to like a strong garlic bread or a side salad. But some people prefer soup. (In my opinion never have soup with pasta!!!)
If you have visitors or you are cooking a meal you could have soup as a starter,
followed by your pasta dish with some garlic bread, but a salad bowl in the centre,
and i find that chocolate ice cream is a refreshing treat after your pasta dish!
Hope you found my advice useful,

As a category in Italian cuisine both dried and fresh pastas are classically used in one of three kinds of prepared dishes. As pasta asciutta (or pastasciutta) cooked pasta is plated and served with a complementary sauce or condiment. A second classification of pasta dishes is pasta in brodo in which the pasta is part of a soup-type dish. A third category is pasta al forno in which the pasta incorporated into a dish that is subsequently baked. It comes in large varieties because it is a versatile food, and is also prepared in light lunches, such as salad.
