If you are not a good cook and can afford it take them out to a quaint little restaurant. If you can cook then try to keep it as simple as you possibly can handle. Pastas with sauces (can get it off Google); fresh raw spinach salad with sliced strawberries and sliced almonds with a dressing made of honey; little bit of apple cider and a wee bit of ground pepper and for veggies carrots peeled and cut crosswise but not too thick and don't forget the garlic bread. If you are too young to buy alcohol then ask someone else in the family who is of age to buy a bottle of red wine for you and serve this along with the main meal. For dessert if you can afford it buy a small cake if there are only three to four people and if more then buy a medium cake and have 'Happy Anniversary Mum and Dad.' It's a wonderful thought you have and your parents are lucky. If you are good cook and can handle a more elaborate meal then go to 'discussions' on this board and we can help.
