A lot of factors and processes caused the continents to change in size. Most of them also helped in changing their shapes as well. These processes are group into two (2) based on where they take place. 1."The External Processes",these are those that takes place on the earth surface and they are: a.Weathering b.Mass wasting c.Erosion and d.Denudation, While, 2."The Internal Processes" are those that occurs from within or inside the Earths crust and they are: a.Vulcanicity b.Tectonics c.Earthquakes and d.Action of underground water. These external and internal processes works hand in hand in re-structuring,re-sculpting and re-shaping the earths landforms thereby changing the sizes of the continents and re-cycling its materials and compositions.
The movement of tectonic plates caused the continents to change size over millions of years. Plate tectonics is the theory that the Earth's outer shell is divided into several plates that move and interact with each other, leading to the shifting and reshaping of continents. Processes like subduction, where one plate goes beneath another, and continental drift have played a significant role in altering the size and position of continents.

Greenland appears much wider than it actually is when compared to other continents, due to map distortion caused by the Mercator projection. Greenland is often depicted as being larger in size when compared to other continents like Africa or South America.
The term "big continents" is not a specific geographical term. However, the biggest continents on Earth are Asia, Africa, and the Americas. These continents are large landmasses that are significant in terms of size and population.
The fit isn't perfect because the Earth's surface is constantly changing due to tectonic plate movements, which have caused the continents to drift apart over millions of years. This movement has led to changes in the shapes and positions of the continents, resulting in the current imperfect fit of the continents.

they can increase or move the size of the continents
It's caused by Mountains and Continents and also the spin of the earth

The size is not a change. If there is a change in size that could be a physical change, but that depends on why its sized increased. If the sized increased because more material was added or because it was heated, those are examples of a physical change that caused a change in size. If the sized increased because it reacted with some other chemical, making it take up more space, that would be a chemical change that caused the size to change.

Continental drift :)
The causes of the natural disasters and plus the wind could possibly tear the continents and make separate continents. Also there could have been a terrible earthquake that caused the continents to also separate.
Continents have undergone changes such as plate tectonics, leading to their movement across the Earth's surface over millions of years. These movements have resulted in the formation and breakup of supercontinents, the opening and closing of oceans, and the creation of mountain ranges and other geological features. Additionally, factors like climate change and sea level fluctuations have also influenced the shape and position of continents over time.
