Stress and anxiety lead to rapid breathing, and when the level of carbon dioxide in the blood is reduced, it can lead to dizziness and further panic. If you have anxiety you might tend to overbreathe or hyperventilate this causes reduced cerebral blood flow espicially if no actual activity takes place. However its harmless yet unpleasant.
