To prevent computer freezes, you should regularly scan your computer's registry to ensure all the files are working properly. The registry contains the settings and configuration files for your computer and if the files are corrupted it could cause the computer to freeze when the computer cannot process the setting file.
If your computer is currently freezing a lot, you should run a registry cleaner on the computer for Windows registry repair.
