either your coil pack, spark plug, or wire. i would take off the wire on the plug side and check for spark. if none then switch that wire on the coil side with another one on the coil side and see if its the wire ( leave the one you took off to test off) be sure to put them back in the right place. if no spark from either terminal replace wire first, dont forget to check for spark at the plug too. other then that it could be combustion or something which is outta my realm
P0302 is Misfire Detected in Cylinder 2. If it is the 4.0 inline 6, this will be the second cylinder from the front. I do not know off the top of my head which is cylinder number 2 for the 4.7 V8.
First, Thing you do is get the codes. Second, If it is a 4.6L change plug and wire, and if 5.4L Just change plug and coil pack.
If the check engine light is flashing every second or so with the engine running that means an engine cylinder misfire has been detected
If the check engine light is flashing at 1 second intervals , an engine cylinder misfire has been detected
Usually cars that have overheated will continue to run after you turn them off ---which is referred to as diseling (from disel engines). This is caused because the inside of the engine is so hot that the least amount of pressure causes the gas to fire and continue to run for a second or two. Not sure, but the misfire you observed may be due to pre-mature ignition due to the high heat that resulted in the pistons firing in the wrong order. You could have also overheated it to the point you blew a head gasket. Check for possible water in your oil or oil in your water. This is a pretty good way of knowing. Otherwise check the compression of each cylinder.

A concrete pump which comprises an elongated hollow housing in which a valve element reciprocates. The valve element includes a pair of transversely extending tubes and a pair of concrete guiding chambers. The valve element moves between two positions. In the first position a first guide chamber is opposite a first pump cylinder and guides concrete from an upright conduit associated with the first pump cylinder into the first pump cylinder and a first tube is opposite a second pump cylinder and guides concrete from the second pump cylinder into a discharge line associated with the second pump cylinder. At the second position a second guide chamber is opposite the second pump cylinder and guides concrete from an upright conduit associated with the second pump cylinder into the second pump cylinder and the second tube is opposite the first pump cylinder and guides concrete from the first pump cylinder into the discharge line associated with the first pump cylinder.
Second cylinder on driver side head.
It could be any one of the following causes: A bad spark plug, A bad spark plug wire, A bad ignition coil to that cylinder, or a bad fuel injector on that cylinder. Those would be the most likely causes, it could also be something major inside the engine.
Be sure the trans is full with the proper lubricant.
there are many reasons. one of it is the engine mounting and/or the bush of it has been warn or broken or other problems. the second would be, a problem in your cylinder chambers, where the cylinder head producing too much friction while going up and down.
A Land Rover Freelander sometimes misfires. It is a sharp jerk as the engine seems to lose power for split second and then continues to run normally again. There are no warning lights or any detectable after effects. This is caused by blocking of the filter or dirt in the fuel.
