They celebrate Christmas, Easter (they call it Holy week), Independence Day (their Independence from the Spanish), Revolutionary day (The dethrone of a harsh dictator), New Years Eve, and All Saints Day (locally known as the Day of the Dead, it is pretty interesting. They fly huge kites in cemeteries in hopes to communicate with the dead). All their holidays are celebrated with eating, fireworks, and pinatas.
2 holidays I know Guatemala celebrates are New Year's Day and Christmas Day. I heard that in Guatemala the kids get their presents on Christmas Day but the adults get theirs on New Year's.
