Currently there is no certification requirement for medical practice managers, however, it does not hurt to have it for credibility. Always check your local state requirements.

There are some practice manager groups that offer certification courses for medical practice managers and you can now choose whether you would want to to take your medical office management training online, in a school or a learning center. You just have to find the provider that has the best courses or training programs in your area (or online)
