What college courses are needed to become a psychologist?

Talk to your high school counselor, but in most cases you want to take a college preparatory program. Do not avoid classes because they seem hard. My suggestion would be 4 years of english, algebra, geometry and trig; 4 years of social studies/history (including geography), 2 years of foreign language, and Biology, chemistry and physics. If you can take additional electives select music, art, etc. This will give you the classes needed to apply for almost any college. If you have a college in mind go on line or write or call them for their admissions requirements. Challenge yourself in high school as much as you can.
