The first generation iPhone was only available in one style, with black front and silver back. The iPhone 3G used to be available in black and white, but now the iPhone 3GS ha…s been released you can only get the iPhone 3G in black 8GB. A good case is highly recommended for use with the iPhone, and there are many dozens of cases available in many different styles and colors. I recommend a case because, unlike the originaliPhone or iPod Touch, the iPhone 3G's back ismade of plastic, easier to break than metal. Additionally, there are companies like Colorware who provide professional painting for consumer electronics and computers, including the iPhone. See links below for more information.
wow touch screen,3GS, I would definetily have it if i was you!!!!! :)
Why not? It is almost the same as an iPhone 4 but just a tad slower
it will be $199 for the 16 gb and $299 for the 32 gb model
the 3gs is a lot faster all around. it also has a compass. takes better pictures , ad has a few more features if your trying to decide definitely pay a little for for the 3gs …its well worth the extra money
most of the improvements (speed, new apps, fixing bugs, etc.) are just software changes, so your old iphone 3g is basically the same as the 3gs with the free software upgrade,… the only real difference being that the new iphone 3gs has a built in video cam function. so, final answer, it is worth it if you do not have an iphone already (although the at&t service is a bit pricey) if you have an iphone already, just get the upgrade. (and if you really need a pocket cam/video recorder, just buy a flip cam for like $99) IMPROVEMENT: if you want to record video on your original iPhone or iPhone 3G, there's an app for that! (GET IT IN CYDIA)
It depends on which country you are in and which plan you are on, but for a two year contract (which seems to be the minimum) it's around $2000.
I have an iPhone 3GS and the only difference is that you can take videos, you can use voice control, and it has more memory. Let me improve that answer. The iPhone 3G[S] is …more than 2x faster, has more powerful processors. (You need it for most 3D apps (like games) to run smoothly, and for augmented reality.) The iPhone 3G and original iPhone CAN record video, once jailbroken. (This is free) The iPhone 3G[S] costs more than the iPhone 3G. The iPhone 3G[S] has a digital compass. (This allows for navigation and augmented reality apps.) The iPhone 3G[S] is available in Black or White, while the iPhone 3G is available in only Black. The iPhone 3G[S] has restrictions made by Apple to make jailbreaking just that little bit more complex, but it is always possible. When the 3G[S] was first released, jailbreaks for each firmware version were a while behind jailbreaks for the 3G, but now there is more known about its inner workings, and it is more widely adopted, jailbreaks come out at nearly the same time, if not sooner, for the 3G[S], so no worries now. But if you are thinking of buying an iPhone, I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND waiting till June/July to see the new iPhone, and if it will be worth its price. There are reports of the NEW iPhone being cheaper.
i would say the iphone 3gs if you can afford the plans, also it depends on the coverage. but both phones are great.
you can tell because the regular iPhone doesn't have a camera while the iPhone 3gs has one and other new accessories.
With your hands. IMPROVEMENT: hehe made me laugh. Umm here's how: you get a life, and quit being a hobo!
No it will not work, I tried doing that myself when I was repairing an iphone because i thought I used the right screen. It turns out that the digitizer layout is different. S…o if you do switch the screens up, if you click on an app, it will go to the one next to it.
Ask them to stop in a mature way. If it keeps on happening you arent true friends.
