Im not really sure if u mean skin color or party color. The party color is red. Most republicans are white and upper class.
White and upper class? Just because most blacks voted for Obama doesn't make us all white. And most Republicans are middle class. But I'm probably biased, cuz in Massachusetts, everyone is a Democrat.
The color scheme was created by TV. journalist Tim Russert on the Today Show, and NBC program, during coverage of the 2000 presidential election.
The red color is associated with the Republican Party and the blue color is associated with the Democratic Party.
Another NBC journalist John Chancellor used the system as well in 1976, but his color scheme was reversed.
People needed to differentiate between the two parties on big T.V. maps so it just stuck.
Blue represents the Democratic Party and Red represents the Republican Party

Pink. That's the color that represents their party.
The easy way to remember this is the three "R"'s - Republican-Right-Red, from which then you can deduce that Democrats are blue. The red and blue thing came from a news network map during one of the elections when they were showing which states voted which way. Red and blue make a good contrast on color TV. Blue, particularly dark blue, is often associated with Conservative parties, originating from its use by that party of the United Kingdom. Red is traditionally associated with socialism and communism. Thus says wikipedia. In the United States, since the year 2000, the mass media has begun to associate red with the Republican Party, but the party has not adopted red in any official sense. I personally speculate that the association of red with the Republican party stems from the Democratic party's desire to distance themselves from the association with Socialism and Communism. But that's a conclusion you'll have to make for yourself.
The American Republican Party, also referred to as The Grand Old Party or GOP for short, was founded in 1854 by anti-slavery activists. Somehow The Democratic party is often viewed as the more anti-racist and morally or politically correct of the two major parties, at least in recent times. Which is sad because Abraham Lincoln actually was a republican and equal rights and opportunities is the brainchild of the political right side, not the left. The republicans can easily be identified by their use of the color red and an Elephant as a logo.

Yes they are. Just use your critical thinking and it all becomes very obvious. The Republican and Democratic parties are tools the American government uses to brainwash the American people. What happens when you have two parties that represent the two sides of the political spectrum, is that you keep the American people divided in their opinions, disabling them to fight back against a corrupt system. In the Republican and Democratic system, the media controls the information fed to the American public - controlled by the politicans and lobbyists of both parties. This gives the Democratic and Republican system the ability to demonize anyone, persuade people's opinions, and even hide information by not talking about it. All in the means of getting you to think what they want you to think about politics, society, and the rest of the world. It is very likely that both parties plan the same scheme, especially considering that they both meet at the Bohemian Grove where politicians have historically had Masonic rituals (the same place where the Manhattan Project was made).

The symbol of the Republican party is the elephant. Rumor has it that while President Grant was contemplating running for a third term, several animals escaped from the New York Zoo and an elephant was running away from a donkey, which happens to be the symbol of the Democratic party.
Barack Obama is a member of the Democratic Party, which is commonly associated with the color blue.
