Thursday

The day after Ash Wednesday is known as Bacon Thursday (first observed in 2009).

Since both Ash Wednesday and the Friday after it are meatless, observant Catholics are encouraged to consume a pound of bacon on the day in between: hence, "Bacon Thursday".
