C. The applied force must make the object move. D. At least part of the applied force must be in the same direction as the movement of the object.
Well you shall need the initial force which propels the object, and there should be no hindering forces acting on the object when it is in motion. However all these forces will mean nothing without a force 'holding' the object onto the centre of rotation i.e. force of gravity, tensional force e.t.c.
In order for an object to be in constant uniform motion ... that is, un-accelerated, with constant speed and direction of motion ... the vector sum of all forces acting on it must be zero.
force
nothing to do any work
The force must couple to the object. The point of application of the force must be able to move in the direction of the force.
C. The applied force must make the object move. D. At least part of the applied force must be in the same direction as the movement of the object.
In order to pose your question, you've invented an irresistible force, which can't exist, and an immovable object, which also can't exist. You're doing so well with fiction, you might as well go ahead and postulate a result as well.
1 there must be movement 2. there must be force 3. the force and satnce the object travels must be in the same direction
-At least part of the applied force must be in the same direction as the movement of the object. -The applied force must make the object move. APEX ANSWER!! <3;&Dweeb

Work is the scalar product of the force acting on an object and the displacement caused by that force. In order for work to be done, the object must be moved in the direction of the force.
