The previous actors were Lon Chaney Jr., Randy Quaid and John Malcovich, so my choice would be Val Kilmer, Benico Del Toro, Charlie Sheen, Ben Affleck, Cuba Gooding, Kevin Spacey.
I think if a another remake was done with black actors Morgan Freeman and Cuba Gooding would be an excellent choice.
An actor who could potentially embody the role of Lennie from "Of Mice and Men" is Josh Brolin. He has shown his ability to portray characters with depth and sensitivity which would be essential for bringing Lennie's complex character to life.
Any competent actor should be able to fill the role.

The lady who used to give Lennie mice was Lennie's Aunt Clara.She was a kind-hearted woman who cared for Lennie like a mother figure, as he had no family of his own. She would give Lennie mice to pet and care for, not realizing the danger he posed to them due to his strength and lack of understanding.
