The keeping of records in 17th century England was extremely poor, even for people born here. For a native American who was only "passing through" they were even worse. There was no record made of her illness (possibly tuberculosis), the treatment she was given or exactly when she died.
All that can be stated with any certainty is that she was buried in the chancel of St George's Church, Gravesend on 21 March 1617. A 1923 search for her remains found nothing; the later (fantasy) statue in the churchyard outside, a 19th century tablet and early 20th century windows are the only lasting memorial at the church.
