Bruce Lee had 3 pairs of sunglasses during his famous Hong Kong movie years 1970-73. The most worn, photographed and famous set he had were his favourite Persol Ratti sunglasses, seen in countless pictures of him in HK, filming on set, at home, on TV, at the studios etc. They have the 'PERSOL' lettering on each lens and scratches over the brand lettering inside each frame arm. This original pair of Bruce's is now with a top UK collector.
Bruce also had a second set of these Persol frames but with his perscription lenses in as his sight was poor. He had another plastic frames pair of sunglasses only pictures a few times when filming Enter the Dragon, and finally an aviator style metal framed set of sunglasses, again less worn, believed with the family.
Yes Bruce had poor sight and had several perscription glasses (one now in the HK Heritage exhibition). His famous, most photographed sunglasses were Persol Ratti, now with a private collector. He had a second pair of these with perscription lenses in. He had a few lesser worn sunglasses in HK, and several reading glasses.
