On the first day:

He created the sky, and i mean with the sky, everything around earth (the space).

He divide water and ground and he created plants.

He rested in it to show humans that they may work all week but there has to be a day for god that they stop working at and pray for him and so he called it god's day which is Sunday, that's why we go to church every Sunday.
