"Time" was not a concept with which the Aborigines had to deal. All important activities, i.e. hunting, corroborees, etc were carried out with regard to the position of the sun in the sky. They had a freedom that modern society lacks: they were not restricted by time, or by having to be anywhere at a particular time.
