The first branch of the US government is the Legislative Branch. This consists of the Senate and the House of Representatives, which have the power to create statutory laws. The second branch is the Executive Branch. This consists of the President, the Presidential cabinet, and Government Organizations (TSA, FAA, etc...). The third and final branch is the Judicial Branch. This is composed of the United States Courts.
The Constitution sets out three branches of government; Executive Branch (Lead by the president), the Legislative Branch (Lead by congress) and the Judicial Branch (Lead by the Supreme Court).
The constitution established three branches of Government: The Executive (the President and his Cabinet), the Legislature (Congress), and the Judiciary (the Supreme Court).3 branches. The legislative, executive and judicial branches.what 3 ares of government dose the constitution create
No. Only the executive branch (President) has the actual authority to create administrative agencies. The legislative branch makes the laws, the judicial branch interprets the laws and the executive branch implements and enforces the laws.
The judicial branch has checks on it because the judicial branch does not create laws in the USA, the legislative branch does. The judicial branch's job is to interpret and apply laws in a just manner. The judicial branch balances the other branches because the judicial branch decides whether the laws enacted by the legislative branch are legal (not against the Constitution) and whether the laws are followed legally by the executive branch and the legislative branch.
The legislative branch was to create laws to improve American life, The executive branch was to enforce the laws, and the judicial branch was to judge whether a law was constitutional.
The Constitution does create a government with three different branches. The legislative branch makes the laws, the executive branch enforces the laws, and the judicial branch interprets the law.
A government with legislative and judicial branches.
The legislative branch could tax, regulate commerce, control currency, and create laws.
Executive - Executes and carries out laws; "enforces" them. Has the power to veto bills from Congress. President appointed for 4 years. Legislative - This is Congress/Senate, has the power to create laws. Senators appointed for 2 years. Judicial - This is the Supreme Court, has the power to interpret/understand laws and their language (e.g. understand what the Constitution meant by the 5th paragraph, and what that means in reality, etc.). Judges appointed for life.
The Legislative branch establishes the lower level courts according to the right given them in Article III section I of the US Constitution, which establishes the US Supreme Court along with such lower federal courts as Congress chooses to create. These courts exist in the judicial branch. The executive branch appoints judges to the bench with the advice and consent of the legislative branch.
The Legislative Branch is in control of inferior courts.
