Plants, berries, veggies, fruit, whatever they could find!
According to all the Macaw pet owners that I keep reading about, they all say that a Macaw needs a good percentage of oils and fats in their diets. This can be found in foods such as nuts (almonds, pecons, walnuts etc.) and in seeds. It also looks like starchy foods such as potatoes, rice, and pasta are all recommended as well. The easiest and probably most common food for these birds would be any sort of fruit or vegetable. Can't do no harm there! If you have any further questions, I suggest you just look it up as there are many happy pet owners out there that have the knowledge to answer them on the internet. They also eat nuts from peaches and other fruits.
