"AY-zehr" = roughly "helper"

In the original Hebrew text of Genesis, Eve was created in order to be Adam's "AY-zehr k'NEG-do" ...

roughly his "helper as if against him".

(Commonly translated as his "helpmeet", or a "suitable helper" for him. Both translations

miss the important element "k'NEG-do" ... "as if against him" ... a partner to oppose, resist,

challenge, always in a helpful fashion, and in so doing to help the man achieve his potential.)
