There are many fun thinks to do on Thanksgiving because it is a three-day holiday. Some people cook and some might leave town and visit relatives. Some watch football on T.V. because their team is playing of simply because they like football on a day when you can relax.
Eat, give thanks to God, watch parades, football, and maybe a History channel/Harry K. Smith documentary on how Thanksgiving came into being. A lot of people love to watch the film: Planes, Trains, and Automobiles with Steve Martin and John Candy. Almost nobody watches the (lousy) film: Plymouth Adventure with Spencer Tracey.
Thanksgiving Day is a public holiday in the United States of America. Traditionally it is a day when the family all gets together to eat a meal of turkey and then they will watch sports on TV.
* For many decades in the U.S. and Canada the real reasons of celebrating Thanksgiving have become foggy at best. It dated back to our forefathers and it was a time of thanks for all the blessings a family had such as good crops, good health, etc. With our fast paced world of today Thanksgiving is meant to gather with all of one's family for a turkey dinner and hopefully being thankful for what they have. Just talking and joking around with family is all one should do. The children could play games, watch TV, etc. The point is to get all of the family to sit at the dinner table as one time (which seems to be getting less and less with families during the course of a year.) In a sense it's 'stop and smell the flowers' ... we sometimes forget just how lucky we are to have the family we do or what we possess such as a home, friends, job and good health.
We celebrate this day with our family and friends and also give gifts like flowers, jewellery, chocolates etc to our near and dear.

Invite the family, prepare the turkey and eat it. Or alternatively book a holiday and have a great time.
Opinions may differ, but one reason Memorial Day should be used as a day of thanksgiving is that had it not been for the people who fought for the country, the country may not have become what it became. Fighting and giving your life for the country is no small thing. We should be thankful for the people who did that and honor them.
Your choice entirely.
Thanksgiving Day is always on the fourth Thursday of November
Wendy's is not open on Thanksgiving day. However, they are open the day after on Black Friday, which is usually a busy day, because there are people who go shopping the day after Thanksgiving.
day before thanksgiving
Many people would not like the massive crowds they would be in at the day-after-Thanksgiving Day sales, so they do not go to them.
It would most likely be the day after thanksgiving because on Thanksgiving people and the families get together and be thankful for one another and everything in there life. The day after people might not do anything so they might go to Disneyland.
At like big holiday such as thanksgiving day(this thanksgiving day is different as us :) ) or new year's day.

The day after thanksgiving is THE DAY AFTER THANKSGIVING!

Anytime you are referring to the holiday or the tradition, Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving Day are always capitalized. Examples: Will you be working the Thanksgiving Day holiday? I bought a Thanksgiving floral arrangement for my mother. There are a few instances when the word thanksgiving is not capitalized. If the use does not refer to the holiday or the Thanksgiving tradition, it is not capitalized. For example: Will you please offer a prayer of thanksgiving?
