Never call a classical piece of music a song. It's a piece, and song has lyrics. And probably his Clarinet Quintet or his Sextets for Violin and piano.

You actually call a piece of music with no lyrics such as a classical concerto or metal Instrumental a "piece", although it can be called an instrumental as well. You "sing" a song and you "play" a piece.
