Asexual reproduction in amoeba is known as binary fission.

Well really it would have to do with sex so call it sexual equayote
Gametes, also known as sex cells or reproductive cells. In animals, these are the sperm and ova, in plants the pollen and ovules. In asexual reproduction, known as agamogenesis, reproduction is generally by mitosis, or division.
Reproduction
Parthenogenic, the process is called parthenogenesis. when an egg develops by itself. Self fertilisation is asexual reproduction i think...?????
The kind of growth that involves roots and shoots but not reproductive structures is called vegetative reproduction. Some biologists call it asexual reproduction.

A species, only two animals of the same species can mate and have viable offspring (offspring that can also reproduce)
You call the reproduction of seed plants mostly happens through a process known as apomixes. This is similar to sexual production in the animals.
The offspring of different animals are known by different names- for example the oppsring of a Lion is called a cub, that of a cow is called a calf and so on.
Organisms that reproduce asexually do not share a limiting factor in the production of offspring. The limit will generally depend on the lifespan of the organism, the mode of reproduction and the resources available. As an example: a paramecium will reproduce by fission. That will produce two new organisms. Do you say that the parent produced two offspring but, was lost in the process? ...or do you arbitrarily call one the parent and the other the offspring? ...does it really matter? After you puzzle through that, each will have divided again-- 1->2->4->8->16->32->64->... Until they use up all food, they will likely continue the sequence with no numerical limit.
