The two pieces are 1) with the boy with the big head in Dos Cactos,and 2) on top of the bank after it is robbed. Obviously you have to play most of the island before you can board the train and foil the bank robbery. Only then does the bank get robbed. The cure for the big-head boy is in the mine at the upper right (train track) in Rock Ridge. Knock the key from the canary's claws to enter the mine, then shoot the red switches to travel on the cart. Get the blue flower and take it to the boy. (see related question)
