A cavity, no matter what kind it is, is a hole. You cannot take out a hole, but you can fill it up. In the case of a tooth cavity, the dentist drills and picks out all of the rotten tooth, right down to good solid material. Then he swabs the cleaned cavity with a liquid to plug up the tiny tubules inside, and also to discourage bacteria growth. Then he packs it full of a silver mixture which is the best material for a long-lasting filling.
So . . . no, I cannot take out a cavity because I am not a dentist.

∙ 12y agoYou should go to the dentist as soon as possible, but if you can't for a while, cut back on sugary foods that can make it decay even more and sugary soft drinks until you get it taken care of. Brush and floss really good to remove plaque from the area as well as the rest of your teeth. Just remember that a cavity cant be brushed away and the best thing to do is to get it filled with a filling. It may need a cap or a crown if it starts to cause you pain (sensitivity and/or a "zing" when you eat something" which can mean the cavity got bigger and is near the nerve of your tooth and if it's not fixed the ttoth could end up having to be pulled!
