These go bad over time. Need to pull inner door lining and replace the module. You can find them on eBay for around $60.
The body control module, on your 1997 Oldsmobile, is located on the rear suspension. The module is mounted on the passenger side of the rear axle.
The 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora turn signal/ hazard flasher module is located up under the LH dash above your feet.
The 1999 Oldsmobile headlamp module is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The headlamp module will be on the drivers side of the firewall.

Replace blower control module. Usually the fan starts acting erraticaly and eventualy just stops.
The Body Control Module For a 2001 Olds Aurora Is underneath your steering column, you have to remove 3 or 4 screw on the bottom black panel....then if you look under there, its in a white mount...and its the one closest to your driver side door...there is two, one is your ECM and the other is the BCM....the ECM is the one most visible, and like i said the BCM is the one closest to your driver side door

Not sure if you have the same thing as I did. I lost AC on one side and it was the Control Module. I don't know how to trouble shoot it but I took my car to a mechanic (98 Aurora)he replaced the board and it is now working. $300.00.
The 1997 Oldsmobile airbag module sensor can be found below the dashboard on the drivers side. The airbag module should be labeled as such.
