Easiest, simplest way... own up and say that you like them. It may seem a scary prospect but it'll be worth it afterward.
Alternatively, maybe write it in a card, or draw them a picture, if you think it would be easier to convey your message that way.
Either way, it might seem an insurmountable problem now, but in years to come, you'll be amazed at how emotion seems to over complicate simple matters. Be brave!

Now, for Hugh Hefner, asking her to be in Playboy, well, she said no, and people think she said yes. I am not a really big fan of her, but I could imagine how it feels. So I don't think Miley is bad.
