Launder it - wash it in cold water with laundry detergent and HANG IT UP to dry. (do not put it in the dryer. Plastic + heat = bad).
Then you can use it for waterproofing packages. Say you go camping, don't want to risk your sleeping bag getting wet enroute, so roll up your sleeping bag, wrap it in your reused shower curtain, tie it up and you're ready to go! (While I don't suggest dropping your packaged sleeping bag in a puddle to test it, you should survive the rain no problem).
