well... u could just let one of ur water type Pokemon hold it to increase it water attacks.
but most ppl use it to get azurill.
to get azuriil u need to give sea incense to a marill and put it in the daycare with another marill. then they wwill eventually make an egg with an azurill inside.

∙ 13y agoTo get the sea incense you must first go to the Mt. Pyte near the route next to Lilycove. Head over through the top of the buildings a drop through the holes. Eventually, you will find a poke ball with the sea incense in it. I hope this helped. Bye.
