Electronics engineering has a very limited scope.Holding that degree you cannot work in power generation or distribution plants or communication systems based companies where as Electrical engineer has a very wide scope of jobs.holding this degree you can either work in power plants communication systems based companies or either in softwere companies.Electrical engineering includes electronics as well.you have a vast option to work as an electrical engineer depending upon your ares of sepicalization.in case of mechanical engineering you will find job only in industry where there is no industry or factory no job for mechanical engineer i would say 1: electrical 2;mechanical 3:electronics
Electrical circuits are just one aspect of electrical engineering, and a huge aspect at that. The core groupings within electrical engineering are electricity, electronics, electromagnetics, and photonics (of course there is a lot of overlap between these, as well as more sub-groupings). Electrical circuits mostly fall under the electronics category. To put it in perspective, studying EE without studying electronic circuits would be like studying chemistry without studying chemical reactions. Study or understand? if you do not understand it is best to study it. I am always studying new electrical circuit technology just to keep up with our changing world. Some say why and others say why not.
Electronics Engineering falls roughly into the overall category of electrical engineering. Electrical engineering deals with ALL aspects of electrical things, from power generation & transmission, to superconductors. In a nutshell, electrical engineers work on power distribution, electrical controls in factories, motors & their control, transformers, and things like the electrical requirements for a new mall (just to mention a few of the many areas of EE). Electronics Engineers deal more with things at the component level, primarily Integrated circuits, signal processing, gadgets like your GPS, and iPOD. On board a cruise ship for example, an Electrical engineer would see over the motor generator sets, the power distribution, the computer controls at the 'control' level (steering & propulsion), while an Electronics Engineer would deal with this like troubleshooting an single circuit board and the communications equipment. Electrical engineering deals with electrical lines, transformers, circuit breakers, power transmission , generation and distribution. Instrumentation engineering is a sub branch of electrical engg. but we can say that Instrumentation engg. is mixture of electrical, mechanical(somewhat), electronics, computer(somehow)..... Instrumentation deals with sensors, transducers, analog and digital controllers, automation etc... so main difference between Instru and Electrical is, Instru. for making plant Automatic and electrical for making plant powered with electricity ....
As an Electrical engineer I will say both will be better in the future. Think about it logically, as technology improves there will always be better and smarter computers that need to be manufactured. And again as technology improves, so will electronics. You will have more and more of each. The only thing is with electrical engineering you have WAY more options in terms of career path. You can be working on projects with medical companies designing radiology machines or you can be working with Sony and designing new TV's....but with computer engineering your limited to working with computers...
It is tough to say really. Engineering I would say but medical and judicial area as well. Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering get paid probably the best in engineering but aerospace engineering isn't too far behind.
I'd say E&C. Being an EC student myself and knowing the bounds of both branches, it has more scope E&T in industry as well as for higher studies. In terms of studying also EC will deal with wide variety of subjects that are required for any engineer. Moreover E&T is a branch that has come into existence recently. So go with history
