Best Answer

The nation of South Africa can take pride in the fact that it was able to move past the racism of Apartheid, and did so without civil war, choosing instead to have a truth and reconciliation process. South African leaders such as Nelson Mandela and Archbishop Desmond Tutu are inspiring figures for the entire world, not just for South Africa.
