The above statement isn't true because masochism is not necessarily you feeling the pain to get pleasure. masochism doesnt only include pain it also includes humlity...so that is a bad example if a girl likes being tied up when having sex then that can my viewed as masochism and if her partner like seeing that then it would be sadomasochism. See the difference?
