This is the refrain from the Bon Jovi song Bad Medicine. The rest of the line continues, "But bad medicine is what I need."
The singer is saying he knows that his girlfriend, and their whole relationship, is destructive and bad for him - maybe she encourages him to stay up too late, party too much, or spend more than he can really afford - but right now he doesn't care. He needs her and this relationship right now, maybe to get over (or get through) something else that's wrong with his life.
The analogy is that while 'bad' medicine can cure your illness, it may have side effects that could be even worse. You can handle it fine in the short term, but you'll want to get out (and find something better for you) before the cure turns out to be even worse than the disease.
