HERE MEN FROM THE PLANET EARTH
FIRST SET FOOT UPON THE MOON
JULY 1969 A.D.
WE CAME IN PEACE FOR ALL MANKIND See the below link for an image of this plaque, which was attached to the Lunar Module Eagle.
The writing on the plaque of Apollo 11 says Here men from the planet earth first set foot on the moon . We came in peace for all mankind. It has the signature of Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins Edwin Aldrin and that of president Richard Nixon.
In addition to footprints, they left the descent stage that carried the engine that landed them on the moon. The first thing they did after opening the hatch was to throw out a small bag of trash. They also left an American flag, a television camera, a lazer reflector to measure the exact distance (within 2 feet)between the earth and the moon, a passive seismograph that measured moonquakes. It was so sensitive that they picked up the sound of the astronauts walking on the surface. They also left an Apollo 1 patch in honor of the men who died 2 years earlier when their spacecraft caught fire during a ground test.
They also left behind a memorial bag containing a gold replica of an olive branch as a traditional symbol of peace and a silicon message disk. The disk carries the goodwill statements by Presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon and messages from leaders of 73 countries around the world. The bag also contained Soviet medals commemorating CosmonautsVladimir Komarov and Yuri Gagarin.
After returning to the Lunar Module, the crew took off their PLSS's (backpacks) that fed them oxygen and cooling water during their EVA and hooked themselves up to the lunar module. Then they opened the hatch again the discarded their PLSS's, outer boots, and the camera they used on the surface and closed the hatch for good.

Whilst on the surface of the moon, Armstrong and Aldrin performed the following tasks:collected rock and soil samplestested human mobility on the Moon's surface, and reported on how the reduced gravity affected movementdeployed the EASEP (Early Apollo Scientific Experiment Package) which would leave behind a passive seismograph to detect moon-quakes, and a laser ranging retroreflector for the purpose of bouncing laser beams back to Earth, to enable astronomers to measure distances more accurately than had previously been possible.took photographs and televised their activitiestrapped solar particles for further experimentationset up a seismometer to record moon movementsthe American flag was also planted, along with a plaque commemorating this historic event
There is a Historic Plaque and Seton Woodland Park, on the Trans Canada Highway east of Carberry, Manitoba
If the date was assigned by experts that is one thing, if 320 AD was actually on the plaque it means something other than the date.
