You might want to pursue English Literature or a degree in business, preferably both. In this new globalized century, it could also be useful to study other languages as well, so that you could communicate with customers and suppliers in other countries.

Hi!Now, it is Tanith Low, not Lou.Also Tanith almost dies in every book because in the original 1st draft of book one, Derek Landy does have an alternative ending where Tanith is not just injured by the White Cleaver, but is killed. After he took this to the editor/ publisher, they said that the book was fantastic, but that they would not publish it unless he changed the ending so that Tanith was not killed. At first Derek did not agree, but then he came to an agreement with the editor/ publisher that Tanith would not be killed but wounded almost fatally in every book. :-)
