Recently, Blizzard has decided that all users are to upgrade to a battle.net account for administration and security. As a result of this, all usernames are now replaced with a user-chosen email address.
Once you have merged your WoW account with battle.net your username and password is the same as your battle.net username and password. For example my username is now my email address "*********@yahoo.com" and my password is the same as my old wow password which you can change at any time at the battle.net website.

World of Warcraft usernames are the email addresses that you used when you signed up. WoW accounts no longer use just single user names as all WoW accounts must be battlenet accounts.
It contains to your password,username,and your e-mail adress.
It works in the sense that it sends your username and password to him so he can steal your account.
No one should ever give out their account name and/or password to their World of Warcraft or any private account in their possession
