Practically everything. Even devices using electron tubes (e.g. microwave cookers, high power radio and TV transmitters) now generally use transistors to control the tubes.
Computers, radios, televisions etc.
monolithic integrated circuit
Resistors, capacitors, inductors, transformers, diodes, transistors, integrated circuits, power sources are the basic building blocks.
Most active electronic devices (devices that amplify or switch states, e.g. vacuum tubes, transistors) only operate when conducting in one direction. If the current reversed periodically (as it does in AC) these devices would either not work at those times or would do something much different than they were designed to do. Thus DC is needed to keep them operating all the time.
As transistors are made of semiconductors, they do notfollow Ohm's law.A: they cannot follow exactly ohms law since they are themselves no linear active devices
Simple electronic circuits are used in simple electronic devices.
Radios, Televisions & Computers.
Every electronic devices contains transistors.A telephone consists of transistors.
It is used in transistors and other electronic devices.
Nowadays, transistors are mainly used.
Yes. In electronic devices, semiconductors fulfill a variety of functions, including current filtering - a semiconductor diode only lets current pass in one direction - and signal amplification, using transistors. Transistors have many uses, including for electronic switching. Do some reading on diodes and transistors, while bearing in mind that they use semiconductors.Yes. Transistors are used for switching devices! What gave you the idea they aren't?
As far as I know, transistors - and other electronic devices - basically work with DC, not AC. If a computer (for example) is plugged into an AC outlet, some device within the computer must first convert the AC current into DC current, which is then fed to the electronic components.
Transistors provide most of the activities a circuit needs to operate. In their most basic representation, transistors are amplifiers. That is, they take and amplify a signal from the level produced by a microphone and amplify it enough to blast it out through a speaker. Transistors are also used on decision making circuits, like electronic gates and Central Processing Units (CPUs). Solid state, electronic systems like desktop computers, cell phones, and GPS devices would not be possible without transistors.
monolithic integrated circuit
ECMs use large scale integrated circuits that are usually embedded in epoxy. They do not contain discrete transistors and are generally not designed to be serviced.
Electronics Devices are those devices which are made from semiconductors like transistors fet mosfet amplifiers and ic's and other p-n junction devices. while mechanical devices are those devices which follow the mechanical principle such as strain gauge , machines and robot etc.
