There are three good deeds you need to do in order for Basho to reveal himself.
.One of them is to help the man under the bridge to catch the creature. You have to go into the city ( to the left of the bonsai trees store ) and get the rotten fish that is sitting on the steps to the palace. Go to the man and catch the creature for him.
. Another good deed is to fix the bridge so the sumo can walk on it. Go all the way to the left and pick up the mortar that is near the water. go back to the bridge and show the man that you have mortar and fix the bridge.
. the last good deed is to help the lady at the bonsai trees store clip the bonsai. When you have fixed the bridge the sumo runs across and drops a pair of clippers. pick them up and go to the lady at the bonsai tree store, and then help her clip the trees.
