Any questions found to be breaking WikiAnswers' Community Guidelines and Terms and Conditions (see "Related Links" section of this answer) will be deleted or placed into the Catch-All Category. All rules should be followed at all times whilst on WikiAnswers.
The site has a set of guidelines that are followed to make things easier and more clear for everyone. Sometimes question wording is changed to the standards of the guidelines, and sometimes it is changed in order to merge the question with another one that is asking for the same information.
Splitting questions counts as a contribution the same as asking or answering a question.
You get 2 contribution points for asking and categorizing a question.
If you are asking a question and you are using WikiAnswers, it must exist. So it must be real.
Yes it is, every second someone's asking a question.
Do you know what you are asking? Do you? is an answer to your question.
No. Is it safe to be asking that question on WikiAnswers, No. Is there people that give you false information on WikiAnswers, YES!
WikiAnswers, try asking a question.
You can't use "+" in a WikiAnswers question. The only symbols allowed in a question are a period, hyphen, and question mark. Instead, you could use the word plus.
WikiAnswers Instead of GoogleMany people have asked the question about Googling instead of asking a question on WikiAnswers, but if it's a stupid question like, "What is lk;ahsd;fjhkdjhkh?" there are much more productive ways to use your time whether you use WikiAnswers or Google. If it's a question that you really want an answer to and does not violate our TOU and Guidelines, you should ask it here instead of Googling because WikiAnswers is a lot more fun than Google! Not only that, but we're building the largest Q&A site on the Web, and that's an exciting thing to be a part of.
No one should stop asking questions on WikiAnswers. There is always some question about something that no one locally seems to know your question. There is always a question to ask, and questions make the world go round, so people shouldn't stop asking questions.
Make sure you actually 'saved' the question. This could also be a browser problem not allowing you to save it properly. Remember, your answer will be removed if it is nonsense, or against WikiAnswers community guidelines. There can also be a server lag sometimes. Try asking the question, then refresh (F5), then when the question finishes reloading, answer and save it.
