PBS Kids Bookworm Bunch was retired on September 16, 2004 and replaced with PBS Kids Go and Preeschool Block. PBS Kids Go was retired on October 4, 2013 and replaced with PBS Kids Pat+Cat. PBS Kids Preeschool Block is still in production.

It was announced that ''ZOOM'' could no longer be part of PBS Kids at the end of 2003. As the same to other PBS Kids programs like Postcards From Buster,Dragon Tales,Cyberchase,Teletubbies,Arthur,Sagwa,WordGirl,Clifford The Big Red Dog,Berenstain Bears,George Shrinks,Seven Little Monsters,Reading Rainbow,Mr.Roger's Neighborhood,Between The Lions,Sesame Street,Maya And Mguel,Curios George,and many more. A bunch of them got cancelled'but another bunch of them still go on.
