You need to make an Infopass appointment. Go to www.uscis.gov to schedule one at your USCIS local office. They will tell you if you can apply for an extension or if you have to leave. Considering the time frame you are working with, I believe this is the fastest route, as they will hand you the extension paperwork. My opinion. And good luck. Answer . You derive your status from your school attendence. If the school says "You have 10 days to leave" then leave you shall. If you leave on time then you can just apply to another school and come back next semester. If you dont leave on time then you can forget about getting another f-1 visa. There is no extention to apply for because you are here to attend that school and if you are not attending anymore whether it's your choice or theirs then its time to go. The schools are very quick to report when you go out of status so if they say you have 10 days then you better start booking tickets.

What is a qualifying widow?

Qualifying widow/widower is a special filing status created to benefit parents whose spouse died. If a person has dependent children (school age children still living at home) and their spouse dies, they can use this special filing status for two years after the year the spouse died. It gives them the benefit of a joint filing status for those years as long as they have dependent children (this doesn't include adult children who aren't attending school).

Did Matthew Jones of the PGA retain his tour card for 2012?

Yes, but because he finished between 126-150 on the 2011 money list, he only has conditional status. This means he is limited in the number of tournaments he can play in, probably less than 20 starts for 2012. Most likely he will be attending q-school in December to try and qualify for full tour status.

Yes, if you run away from home but continue to attend school, your parent or guardian can still report you as a runaway to the authorities. Just because you are attending school doesn't change your legal status as a runaway if you have left home without permission.

Can you go airborn with your regular mos job?

What do you mean by "regular MOS job", exactly, and do you mean simply attending jump school, or actually being in an active jump status unit? Most MOS can attend the jump school. The whole of the 82nd Airbourne Division is on jump status - that's not only grunts, but includes support personnel, as well, meaning there'll be PAC clerks, etc. who are on active jump status. The 18th Corps used to be the 18th Airbourne Corps, meaning a whole lot of REMF sorts were on active jump status at that time. Now, different MOS will have different amounts of difficulty both getting into Jump School and being on active jump status. It'll depend on how many slots are available, what the turnover rate is for that MOS, etc.
