People make waste and use up resources, the more people there are the more waste they make. When this waste enters the environment it poisons it - pollutes it. We need less people on the planet so it is your responsibility not to have more than one child.
Many sewers empty into rivers and the sea the bacteria enters water and makes it unsafe. This in turn kills fish other creatures living in the water.
