You should put take the envelope to the post office before midnight, or earlier, on that Saturday to get the correct postmark. That is, If the pick up for the mailbox has already passed, your mail will be postmarked the following day of business, which is Monday.
Individual income tax returns must by postmarked by April 15. If April 15 is a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday, then the next day that is not a Saturday, Sunday, or holiday.
Federal income taxes are due by April 15 if your tax year ends on December 31st of the previous year. If April 15 falls on a weekend, then the return is due by the next business day. The easiest way to obtain a copyright is to write down any information pertinent to what you want a copyright on, put it in an envelope, put correct postage on said envelope, address it to yourself, and drop it into one of the blue mail bins on the street corners of many cities in the United States. When it goes through the US Postal Service, and gets postmarked at the Post Office, as long as you do not open the envelope, the postmark, which always includes the date it was postmarked, will hold up in court as proof of concept.
