You don't... a healthy baby will be active and lets face it that is something we all want... however as a pregnant woman myself, I have found that rubbing my tummy and speaking soothingly to my little one can calm him down when i need to sleep. at least for a while anyways :)

∙ 14y agoSome baby's are more active then others and you could possibly just be having an off day, how many days haven't you felt him/her kick? I'm pretty sure your okay as long as it hasn't been days without movement and if it has been i would call my doctor immediately

∙ 15y agoNo it doesn't hurt to have your water break. However, it can make your contractions worse if you are having them. That is my experience. It helps labor progress.
